PERSONAL CARE

Suntegrity – All of Suntegrity’s products are vegan (and of course cruelty-free) except for their sport line and their Rebound and Staycation serums. The brand was created to honor the creator’s mom, who passed away from skin cancer, and has “Champion” status by the EWG/Compact for Safe Cosmetics so you know you can trust everything they sell! I especially love their tinted sunscreen moisturizer.

Image Skincare Daily Prevention Collection – My esthetician introduced me to this product lineup which provides SPF in a variety of values + anti-aging hydration… that’s a win-win in my book!

Every Man Jack – This designed-for-men brand has so many vegan-friendly products to choose from including a “men’s” skincare lineup! They even offer a skin care quiz to help you find the right products. The only product that they carry that isn’t vegan is their beard balm but they’re working on making it vegan as well.

Dr. Loretta – Dr. Loretta is a Dermatologist-formulated skincare line that offers everything you could ever need to achieve more healthy, youthful, radiant skin!

Fig. 1 – Fig. 1 is another fantastic Dermatologist-formulated skincare line that once again offers everything you’d need! Plus, if you’re into saving the planet, their products are refillable for less waste and you end up saving money because of this too.

Azure Skincare’s Hemp Collection – I’ve not tried very many of Azure Skincare’s products however I have tried their Hemp Collection and I’m obsessed… especially with their Hemp & Aloe Nourishing Facial Serum which cools and calms hot and bothered skin down, and moisturizers for a more youthful appearance.

Naturopathica – I was introduced to this brand many years ago at a spa and it’s been a favorite ever since! Not everything is vegan but what is vegan can be found by clicking on “shop all” then filtering by the category “vegan” (or by clicking the link I’ve provided which takes you straight there to the vegan section).

Indie Lee – Not everything Indie Lee is vegan but if you click the link I provided you’ll be directed to their vegan product list! One of my fave vegan products of theirs is their COQ-10 Toner which balances and refreshes and is just divine after a hot shower or a good workout.

Alkmene – Alkmene, a German brand, offers tea tree or olive oil based skincare and personal care products that are simply formulated, very effective, and affordable. Their products can be hard to find in America but I’ve seen them on occasion on Amazon!

Olive & June – Olive & June’s nail polish system (meaning they have everything you need from start to finish) gives you salon-quality results at home and with ease! They’ve got 2 different formulas to choose from – a quick dry one and a gel-like long-lasting one – and each has a topcoat to match. They’re also well known for a clever little tool called The Poppy that ergonomically fits the caps into your hand for a better DIY polish job no matter what your skill level. Now, I will also mention that they have press on nails too, but unless you have curved nails or very curved nails, they tend to hurt a little… my nails are not very curved and thus I can’t really do their press on nails. Olive & June products can also be found at Target and Walmart!

Manucurist – France’s number one nail brand is another great fully vegan and cruelty-free nail care option especially for those who like a more simpler nail look. They have a line called Active which they say is like makeup for your nails and nail care all-in-one. These formulas have either sheer color or shimmer, and enhance things like color, shine, smoothness, or brightness of your natural nails.

Madam Glam Gel Polish – True gel polish lovers, this one is for you! Madam Glam offers a wide range of gel colors and everything else you’d ever need to DIY the perfect gel mani and/or pedi at home!

Mooncat – If different is your thing, you MUST check out Mooncat! Mooncat offers up some of the most stunning and unique polishes I’ve ever seen. As they say, it’s wearable art!

Cirque Colors – Another brand that has a more unique lineup is Cirque Colors! They do cool colabs and collections that you just can’t find anywhere else and they also have “do good” colors that support various causes.

Marmalade – Marmalade offers press on nails in a wide variety of colors, shapes, lengths, and finishes! I’ve been a fan since forever, way back when they had a completely different name and were just babies in the industry, and they’ve grown and improved so much over the years which is why I am still a fan to this day!

Static Nails – Another great press on nails brand is Static Nails! They’ve got a bunch of “fun” styles but also a really good selection of what I would call “basics.” Their products can also be found at Ulta.

Seaweed Bath Co. – Seaweed Bath Co. offers everything from body wash, to shampoo and conditioner, to sunscreen, and more! And all of it is made with nutrient-dense seaweed hand-harvested off the coast of Maine. I love it all, especially in the Lavender scent!

Lush – Lush offers a bunch of wonderful vegan-friendly products and their website clearly shows you which are vegan and which are not for easy shopping. They’ve truly got it all: soaps, body washes/scrubs, lip scrubs, makeup, lotions, shampoos and conditioners, bath bombs, perfumes, and more! Some of my faves in their ever-expanding lineup are the lip scrubs, the Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner, and their face masks.

Tom’s of Maine Deodorants and Antiperspirants – Tom’s offers deodorants and antiperspirants that won’t let you down!

Dr. Squatch – This quirky, designed-for-men brand is what the man in my life uses (and he’s not even vegan) but don’t you dare think us females can’t get in on this too! I absolutely LOVE the way men’s products smell… I actually prefer them over the way most women’s products smell. Most everything they offer is vegan-friendly with the exception of their Deep Sea Goat’s Milk Bar (for obvious reasons lol), their Eucalyptus Greek Yogurt Bar (again, for obvious reasons), their deodorants, and their shampoo and conditioner.

Every Man Jack – This is another designed-for-men brand only this one has even more vegan-friendly products to choose from including “men’s” deodorants and antiperspirants! The only product that they carry that isn’t vegan is their beard balm but they’re working on making it vegan as well. Besides deodorants and antiperspirants they also offer shampoos and conditioners, styling products, skincare products, and more – all designed to inspire “men to take care of themselves and the world around them.”

Josie Maran’s Argan Oil Body Butter – Not everything Josie makes is vegan but like 90% of her lineup is and it’s all cruelty-free. Her products feature Argan oil which is ultra hydrating and “one of nature’s richest sources of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E.” Her whipped body butter comes in a variety of scents (or unscented, if you’d prefer) and is one of the best “lotions” I’ve ever used… seriously, I come back to it time and time again because my dry-prone skin and scent-sensitive nose both love it! Two last things I’d like to add: the newly redesigned packaging is refillable AND if you’re on a tight budget like me, QVC offers Josie’s products on payment plans.

Some of my faves in their ever-expanding lineup are the lip scrubs, the Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner, and their face masks.

Purezero Beauty – Purezero offers affordable, salon-quality, clean hair care!

Maui Moisture – I love that Maui Moisture’s first ingredient is always aloe! Their nourishing formulas are beautifully scented and they even offer a hair quiz on their website to help you find the right products for your hair type/needs.

Every Man Jack – This designed-for-men brand has so many vegan-friendly products to choose from including “men’s” shampoos and conditioners! The only product that they carry that isn’t vegan is their beard balm but they’re working on making it vegan as well.

Billie – I’ve been using Billie’s products for so long now… the brand was recommended to me by a friend and I can’t even remember what I used before that nor do I want to! Billie’s razors are seriously game changers. My sensitive skin loves them, and their shave cream, and their lotion too! They also have wax strip kits if that’s more your jam.

Dr. Squatch Safety Razor – This designed-for-men brand offers a precision-engineered razor for a smooth, comfortable shave. It features premium materials, a 30-degree blade positioning, and is lightweight with an ergonomic handle. They also offer a bunch of other products and most are vegan-friendly with the exception of their Deep Sea Goat’s Milk Bar (for obvious reasons lol), their Eucalyptus Greek Yogurt Bar (again, for obvious reasons), their deodorants, and their shampoo and conditioner.

oVertone – oVertone offers fun hair colors, as well as some traditional hair colors, in a variety of healthy, easy-to-use coloring methods that provide either temporary or semi-permanent color!

Manic Panic – Another brand that offers fun hair colors (and was the OG in this space) is Manic Panic! Their offerings are healthy and easy-to-use as well, and also come in both temporary and semi-permanent options.

Madison Reed – If you’re looking for more traditional hair color options, and a little help finding the perfect shade for you, then Madison Reed is the brand for you! The salon-quality brand offer better-for-you at-home box color and lots of support on their website for every step of the process including color selection.

IGK – Another brand offering salon-quality at-home box color is IGK! Though more traditional with their options, IGK works hard to ensure their colors are contemporary, trend-setting, and far from boring.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour – I want to be very clear that not everything John Frieda offers is vegan + cruelty-free however, their box color is and it’s what I currently use because it’s affordable, super easy to work with, and can be found at Target or Walmart! The color I use is called 4PBN Dark Cool Espresso Brown but this shade is not listed on their website anymore so I’m not sure if it’s been discontinued or what – though I can still find it in stores and online elsewhere.

EcoTan – This little-known brand from Australia is the only self tanner I use because they use certified organic, healthy, high-quality ingredients, and their products go on so beautifully and easily! I have used every single one of their tanners at one point or another and can say that they’re all truly amazing… you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.

Coola – Coola offers sunscreen for everybody and every body part! If you’re a thin/fine haired person like me then you’re definitely going to want to check out their Scalp & Hair Sunscreen Mist.

Suntegrity – All of Suntegrity’s products are vegan (and of course cruelty-free) except for their sport line and their Rebound and Staycation serums. The brand was made in honor of the creator’s mom, who passed away from skin cancer, and it has been awarded “Champion” status by the EWG/Compact for Safe Cosmetics so you know you can trust everything they sell! I especially love their tinted sunscreen moisturizer.

Image Skincare Daily Prevention Collection – My esthetician introduced me to this product lineup which provides SPF in a variety of values + anti-aging hydration… that’s a win-win in my book!

Tom’s of Maine Oral Care Lineup – Tom’s has everything you need to keep your mouth healthy and looking good! Most of their products in their oral care lineup are vegan with the exception of their Propolis and Myrrh toothpastes, their Antiplaque Floss, and their Peppermint Fluoride-Free Botanically Bright Toothpaste. They even offer kids toothpastes in fun flavors like Silly Strawberry and Orange Mango!

Good Clean Love’s Almost Naked Personal Lubricant and Almost Naked Hint of Mint Personal Lubricant – I’m not sure about all of Good Clean Love’s products but I know that these 2 in particular are vegan-friendly! They’re both safe to ingest and made with only the highest quality organic ingredients. They’re both also naturally moisturizing, long-lasting, and safe to use with latex, polyisoprene, and toys.

Rael – Rael offers period care and down-there care that is affordable yet really good! Their Vulva Care set and their feminine wipes are absolute must haves if you’re a kitty owner. All Rael products are vegan with the exception of their Collagen Sheet Masks.

Fresh Peaches Toilet Paper Gel and Period Care Gel – I recently discovered brand/product when I was on the hunt for an alternative to flushable wipes (because they’re not really ever truly flushable). My sensitive Crohn’s booty loves it and during that time of the month my kitty loves their period care gel. They also sell little containers that allow you to take their product with you for on-the-go care down-there!

Tattoo Lovers Care – My tattoo artist recommended these after care and lifelong care products to me and truly they are top-notch products as they use only premium ingredients! I especially love their CBD salve because CBD, duh. If you’re planning on getting ink or if you’ve already got some ink, you’ll definitely want to check them out!

After Inked – After Inked is another great brand for vegan-friendly tattoo care! Like Tattoo Lovers Club, they too use only premium ingredients and their products have been featured on the TV shows NY Ink, Ink Master and Tattoo Titans!
